Freeze Frame

One of the things I like most about taking pictures is the way you can freeze your favorite moments in time. Life is so fleeting that it's sometimes hard to really cherish those moments while they're happening. But in a picture you can remember, relive, and recreate those meaningful memories.

Michelle Rubin, editor of Scrapbooks etc ® magazine, did just that with her new book National Balloon Classic. She and her family have been ballooning for years. Here's what she says about her experience:

"Photo books make a great way to remember an event. I had a ton of photos after a week at a hot-air balloon event near my house. It was such a fun week, but it went by so fast that without pictures it would have all been a blur. Making this photo book was a perfect way to recapture all those fun experiences. Plus I was able to make duplicate books and share them with the other people I went ballooning with!"
